Con un comunicato stampa nella serata di ieri arriva la notizia dell'accordo per le stagioni 2018 e 2019 sulla trasmissione live (o in leggera differita) delle 4 manches del Mondiale Motocross, MXGP ed MX2.
Nel 2015 la copertura in Italia era offerta da Mediaset, che mandava in onda il Mondiale live su Italia2, nel 2016 la copertura era comunque live, ma spostata su Mediaset Premium, il Mondiale è poi praticamente scomparso dai nostri schermi nel 2017, in quanto i diritti in chiaro sono stati acquisiti dalla RAI, che mandava in onda le gare il mercoledì notte successivo, mentre Eurosport trasmetteva, quasi empre live, solo la seconda manches di MXGP.
Una grande notizia quindi questa, per gli appassionti dell'offorad, che dovranno essere pronti ai cancelletti di partenza, avanti alla TV il 4 marzo.

MONACO (Principality of Monaco), 5 January 2018 – Youthstream and long time television partner Eurosport are proud to announce that the top pan-European TV channel has renewed and expanded their LIVE TV and digital rights for the 2018 and 2019 seasons of MXGP, the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The renewed agreement expands the exposure of both MXGP and MX2 with 4 Races, 2 MXGP and 2 MX2, broadcasted every Sunday on Eurosport 2.
The highly anticipated 2018 MXGP season is set to start on the 4th March at the MXGP of Patagonia-Argentina in Neuquen and will conclude on the 30th of September at the MXGP of Italy in Imola. The Eurosport coverage includes also the Monster Energy FIM MXoN which this year is taking place in RedBud, US.
